Requirements
A Senior/Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification. A National Diploma in Human Resource Management, Public Administration and Public Management will serve as the added advantage. One (1) year of experience will serve as an added advantage. The disclosure of a valid unexpired driver’s licence will serve as an added advantage. Introduction to PERSAL The certificate will also serve as an added advantage. Knowledge of PERSAL, computer literacy in MS packages. Knowledge of HR prescripts governing the public service. Good interpersonal skills, customer care and communication skills. Ability to work well in a team and under pressure. Willingness to travel and work outside the normal working hours.
Duties
Render HR administrative functions and queries. Administer Recruitment and Selection, Performance Management and Development System and Trainings, Process Human Resource Transactions (Appointments, IOD, PILLIR, Leaves, Pension Administration, Promotions, transfers and terminations, drafting memorandums and submissions. Rendering professional advice to line functions on the effective and efficient interpretation and implementation of the departmental HRM policies and other related prescripts. Compile daily statistics and update databases.
